About Craft Master Mumu

Mumu and Ilsu in the workshop

Craft Master Mumu is a UK-made animated series for children aged 2 to 10, made for girls and boys alike. In every episode Mumu (real name Musa) and his little sister Ilsu make something from everyday things, share a joke, and learn one small life lesson: try again, stay calm, be kind, stop-look-listen.

Episodes are 4 to 5 minutes long and end with a calm bedtime moment. There is a Dance Time in every episode with simple moves children can copy, and a quiz with a 3-2-1 countdown. Crafts only use safe materials; wherever cutting or small parts are involved, Mumu says “Ask a grown-up to help!”

Every week one special episode, Ilsu’s Day, is completely dedicated to Ilsu: the siblings help each other with the things she loves, so the show speaks to girls as much as to boys.

The show lives on YouTube, where the channel is set to Made for Kids. New episodes come out on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with Ilsu’s Day on Fridays.

How we keep things safe

  • No flashing. Nothing on the show or this site flashes or strobes. Animations are slow and gentle, and they switch off if your device has “reduce motion” turned on.
  • Nothing unsafe to copy. No sharp tools, hot glue or climbing. Grown-up help is asked for whenever a step needs it.
  • No ads, no pop-ups, no in-app purchases. The kids’ pages have nothing to buy and nothing to sign up for.
  • Two front doors. Children use the kids’ side (episodes, craft sheets, characters). The shop, this page and anything that involves money or contact details sit on the grown-ups’ side.
  • Mumu’s Workshop (the play page) saves nothing. It is a free-play bench with no scores, no timers, no account and nothing stored; close the page and it resets. Its sounds are tiny tones made in the browser, and on phones that support it a gentle buzz goes with each tap; both can be switched off on the page.
  • Licensed music and sounds only. We never copy other shows’ songs or characters.

The short version

This website does not collect personal information from anyone, and it is designed with children in mind. There are no accounts, no logins, no forms, no comments and no tracking cookies. We do not use analytics or advertising services on this site.

What the site stores on your device

Nothing that identifies you. The site may remember small settings (such as whether you prefer reduced motion) using your browser’s own features. No cookies are set by us.

Videos

Episodes are shown through YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player (youtube-nocookie.com). Nothing from YouTube loads until you press play. Once a video plays, YouTube (Google) may process your IP address and set its own cookies under Google’s privacy policy. Our channel is set to Made for Kids, which limits data collection and personalised advertising on YouTube itself.

The shop

The shop is for adults. When you buy something you leave this site and complete your order on our print partner’s secure store. They collect only what is needed to take payment and deliver your order, under their own privacy policy, which is shown at checkout. We do not see your card details.

Children

We follow the UK Age Appropriate Design Code (the Children’s Code) and the principle of data minimisation: the best way to protect children’s data is not to collect it. We never knowingly collect personal information from a child. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

Email

If you email us, we keep your message only for as long as it takes to reply and deal with your request. We do not add you to any mailing list.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask what information we hold about you, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Because we collect so little, the answer will usually be “nothing”, but you are always welcome to ask.

Changes

If we ever add a feature that changes any of this (for example a newsletter for grown-ups), we will update this page first and say clearly what has changed.

About the shop

Our merchandise is printed to order and sold through our print partner’s store, so nothing is made until it is bought and there is no stock to waste. Prices, delivery and returns are shown at checkout. The shop is for grown-ups to buy; children are never asked for money or details on this site, and there are no “buy now” buttons on the kids’ pages.

Using the craft sheets

Every episode comes with a free A4 PDF you can print at home. Each sheet lists the materials, shows the steps in pictures and marks the bits that need a grown-up. They are for personal and classroom use. Browse the craft sheets.
